We now have the wing framework mostly complete. Next month, I’ll finish it off, including the leading edge skin and the construction of the aileron “in the wing”. |

Since the Tiger Moth wing is swept back, the rear spar root end is offset outboard a small distance, which causes the root rib to be installed at the appropriate angle for the sweepback. The root ends of both spars are cut at a compound angle to accommodate the sweepback and to allow for a small amount of dihedral. |
